Reverse Punch
This is just one of the many variations of the double hip Reverse
punch.
This punch can be done at all different ranges and from any angle on the
clock.
The punch is usually aimed at either the solar plexus or the jaw.
This technique is exceptionally good because it can be delivered from
either foot in front, walking or turning and no guard is required.
The best way to practise improving the impact is on the big
pads.
“Effortless Power Rather Than
Powerful Effort”

Elbow
The elbow is delivered in exactly the same way as the reverse punch only
the elbow connects instead of the punch.
Sometimes when you are in a lot closer or maybe the solar plexus is not
available then the elbow will be utilised.
All these techniques can be practised in combination, and used for
multiple argument type situations.

The
Short-Range Body Dig
The short-range body dig is a very useful and effective technique when in
close.
The target area is the solar plexus.
There are many ways to set this sneaky technique up.
This is a very good addition to anyone’s realism based arsenal. |
Skipping Lead leg
Roundkick.
When having the luxury of kicking range then a most powerful of kicking
techniques is the lead skip Roundkick.
Make sure you use only a short skip, keep the hips going in on impact and
get the foot down fast. |
